The hotel is located right off of I65, just a quick ride to the downtown area. The rooms were ready and newer in the building, but everything we had to touch, from the A/C unit to the light switches, felt sticky and the smoke smell was unpleasant. The service was a mix of rudeness towards my wife by one staff member, but the manager assured us things were safe, and the rest of the staff was nice and respectful. The location was kind of eerie and felt unsafe, especially for a solo traveler, due to the rough neighborhood with sketchy characters outside at all hours.
